Chanukah 2004: Expect Miracles Series III

Third in the Series.
Narrative from back of the card:
In August of 2004, Gal Fridman's windsurfing victory at the Athens Olympics gave Israel it's first-ever Olympic gold medal. Gal finished the final race, took a victory dip in the Saronic Gulf, then wrapped himself in the Israeli flag when he emerged from the water. Gal, whose name means "wave" in Hebrew, dedicated his win to the 11 Olympic athletes and coaches who were taken hostage and murdered by a Palenstinian Terrorist group during the 1972 Munich Olympic games. The light of his gold medal broke through over 30 years of somber Olympic memories for the State of Israel.

This year's Holiday card is dedicated to Gal Fridman, Israelis and to each and every one of us, who through love, dedication, discipline and perserverance conquers the darkness with light from within.

Be the miracle that you're expecting!!
